?????

The opening was kinda good but then you did that stupid animation loop. The loop makes no sense, but even if it did, short loops like that don't look impressive at all.

If you honestly want to make higher scores, learn to animate a figure. At least break apart a character into pieces so you can move around each limb. Even sprite animation would work.

Although, just being a [KK] member is likely to always drag your score down, so you might want to distance yourself from them.

SAK responds:

haha no

stylish

Looks good. You should leave some of the forms on the screen longer. Rather than having it morph into objects randomly, try to make the transformations more progressively related.

If the morpher's supposed to be a creature, it should be responding to it's environment. It at least needs objects to respond to, so it has a reason to change shape. Or, it could be responding to music or sound.

Firetalon responds:

I know. After finishing, I thought about those things. I'm already working on another one for the future and so I will use this.

good for starting

Movement looks a bit wobbly (probably framerate is too low), but overall good. Needs sound fx mostly.

Spoil-SK responds:

yeah may be i can do something to improve it ...thx :)

no effort

Just a vibrating photo with MC Hammer song playing. Nothing that requires skill.

Steff responds:

I doubt you can make anything better.

Too simple

Okay animation, but by far not as good as the animation I originally saw on Newgrounds using this song--"Get on my Horse".

You need more animation. The guys who make 10's spend months on their animations.

And it's not really a parody. A parody resembles another author's work in order to make fun of it. This doesn't seem to make fun of anything.

KovioXZ responds:

imgay ok?

it's okay

Since you're using stick figures, you need to make movement as interesting as possible. Just having the character stand there isn't a good idea. A few emotes aren't going to help much. Emotes indicate a mood, but they don't express life.

One thing you could do, though rather tedious, is draw each frame of the stick person while he's standing still. Even though the character's just standing there, all the lines in the frames that make up the stand will be subtly different, adding a more organic feel.

Another thing you can do is give him a wait animation. He'd at least lower his sword and shield while waiting, because those objects have weight--presumably. Also, you could make him look up at whoever is speaking--who I assume are animators.

Even though you're using stick figures, you can still add personality to them. Unless you add personality to your characters, you're not going to make a very interesting animation.

It'd help if you made his walk not so stiff. Even though his legs are just lines, you can bend the lines, and you can animate his walk cycle like any other walk cycle.

Do some research on traditional 2D animation. Even with stick figures, the concepts still apply.

Galdon responds:

Thanks, I'll keep those tips in mind for the next video. Been playing with the bones editor which lets the lines bend, working on improving the movement quality as I get used to controlling the interface.

He does look up at the animators when they first start talking, but after a few seconds the lava holds more interest to him than the animators do and he starts looking forward again.

blah

It's not interesting. I don't find it offensive or funny. It's just a very bad concept.

SAK responds:

no it isnt

it has style

I like the animation you have, but it's short and just loops over and over. If this is supposed to be a music video, you need to animate something different through the whole song.

It does need a preloader. It also needs start and stop functions. Never auto-loop.

Kittensinafryingpan responds:

I know I'm sorry. :(

Good fight

I have no idea what happened at the end. Attack came from nowhere. Would have been better if you were clearer about what happened.

Kinda short. But still, it a good sprite fight. Good pace.

EXHellfire responds:

it was just to show that hiei even all harmed, would teleport back and send his weird purple fire to kill sasuke =/

Nice

Good animating, but I agree that it looks a bit unfinished. They fall toward a Google Earth map and then Cow and Grape hit a white surface.

You could extend the fall and make them do other things.

EmptyBrooke responds:

I could... but I'm lazy. And I really only did this for a physics assignment XD
