a bit dull

It's hardly "Stickman F**kups" since they're not really f**king up anything. By the title, I expected bloopers of some sort, but all the deaths are intentional. F**kups in this case would be trying to kill the other guy and failing or having things backfire.

You have alot there, but it's not well-animated. The pacing on everything was off or too slow. In the golf club one, it looked like the guy just held the golf club to the other's head and his head came off.

With stickmen, since the art is so simple, you need to be really good at animating to make things interesting.

MekaShadowlight responds:

Yeah F**kups in this case is killing the stick, i probably should have mentioned that in the description. My Bad

A match?

It's an okay animation for 2 hours. It gets the point across. Having the user click to continue was unnecessary since there was only one option. You could have stated the riddle at the start of the animation. I'm not sure if alot of people bother looking at the author's comments.

Gorgoth117 responds:

Yeah I'll keep that in mind, But I wasn't originaly going to make it interactive but my teacher said It had to be so thats why. Also, you're right the actuall riddle was a match but our teacher wanted us to do something "original".

That's a puppy?

There's really not much to this. And it looks like a kitten. Try working on drawing a puppy.

Maybe you could have a customizable kitten AND a customizable puppy.

I don't know if this is practice or if you're trying to fill some niche. If it's practice, it's not bad.

mishu21 responds:

Yes, its one of my first flash games I made. The reason its just a puppy is because the game had to go along with the theme of a website we had done. My website was based on miniature huskies (alaskan klee kais).

Good start

It seems like you have the beginnings of a good game. However, the gameplay itself is clunky. And it is a bit boring visually.

It sucks that you're always facing forward, and your enemies are always facing right at you. give the planes different angles. A trick you can use is to get a 3D modeling program like Blender, find, make, or get someone to make a model of a plane, make a simple turn-around animation or 2, and spit out the frames as .jpg images. You'll have all the angles of the plane you need.

It's hard to tell that you're getting hit without glancing at the bar. Why don't you add smoke to the engine and/or make the screen flash red when you get hit?

StillBeatingPictures responds:

I would've liked to have this done in 3D, but 3D is damn hard, especially when you have no clue about it. Thanks for the tips.

Ok for a start

All the interesting dress-up games I've ever come across have a good system to manage parts and accessories--like slide-out panels to hold different types of parts. A good management system will keep the window from looking cluttered all the time.

And parts should snap into place on the character. And you need some kind of background music--that you can turn on and off.

It's not too bad for someone whose just learning Flash.

MaybeMaybeNo responds:

Thanks for the feedback :D
Yep, I was bummed that I couldn't figure out a button system myself. I'm working on that, and also ambient music. So much to learn @-@
